Welcome to #HoldMyCarrot, the blog about RexiRuRu and BenniBinxBunny. We are so hoppy you stopped by!

We are Julie Wall (Wood) and Larry Wall, the hoomins that belong to RexiRuRu and BenniBinxBunny, aka TeamTroublePuff.

This blog came to be thanks to the crazy antics of our our two rabbits and Julie's ADHD brain creating voices for them while chasing dopamine and avoiding responsibilities.

Julie spent 8 years as a volunteer developing the Rabbit program for her local shelter and volunteering as the shelter liason with the local rescue group, The Rabbit Haven. More about that adventure coming in a blog here soon!

Julie started a pet sitting business in Santa Cruz County in 2016 called Every Critter Sitter that Larry joined in 2018 and they still run today.

On May 30, 2022, Rexi came into their lives. She had been abandoned at a horse ranch in Fremont and nearly killed by dogs. A good friend caught her and brought her to them so they could get her into The Rabbit Haven system for adoption. Long story short, Rexi was a "foster fail" and by day 3 had stolen their hearts. She also had escaped every xpen setup possible and became a free roaming bunny and before long, Julie's ESA, waking her up and soothing her after night terrors. Rexi was thought to be 1 year and 10 days on her gotcha day.

On March 26, 2023, Rexi went speed dating (another blog coming soon) at The Rabbit Haven and met, "Pinto" now know as BenniBinxBunny. It was love at first site! By day 15 they were bonded and free roaming together.

Julie and Larry can't wait to share the joy these two silly bunnies bring together life, providing some house Rabbit edutainment along the way!
